Ubi O’Neal is the sole proprietor of The O’Neal Law Firm. Over his 23 years practicing law, Mr. O’Neal has upheld the highest ethical standards, while providing pinpoint counsel to clients in need of a strong voice in court. He practices in the areas of complex personal injury and commercial litigation, criminal defense, insurance, civil rights, employment discrimination and appellate practice.
Mr. O’Neal has tried over 25 jury cases to verdict, defending individual and corporate clients in state courts. He has tried over 30 bench trials and over 25 binding and non-binding arbitration hearings. Mr. O’Neal has obtained several not-guilty verdicts in criminal cases at trial, jury verdicts on injury cases and favorable outcomes at arbitration or through dispositive motion practice. Lastly, Ubi O’Neal has written several appellate briefs with critical insights into the most impactful components of the law.
Mr. O’Neal received his B.A. in Criminal Justice and M.A. in Political Science from Northeastern Illinois University, Chicago; and his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota. He and his family worship in the Presbyterian faith.
